In 2021, as a 6ft 2” guy, I wondered if it was possible to sleep flat in my Ford Focus Hatchback, so I took out the back seats, threw in a sleeping bag and set off to Scotland.

By this point, I had over 15 years of camping around Scotland but sleeping in a tent. This time was different as I wanted to try it in a bit more comfort in the back of my car. Was it really possible?
